I accept it

I accept it

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

it is what it is is such a lame thing to say

"
I accept it
it will be there,
one day,
the end.

because you
just can't face
all we mean
to each other.

I will dissolve
into a puddle
and cry
for weeks.

then I will
get up
and love
again.

it's you I feel sorry for.

A wonderful poem about understanding that life isn't all sunshine and rainbows but also knowing that doesn't mean that sunshine and rainbows won't ever appear again. I particularly loved the last line.

Thank you very much.
KL, you could have substituted trust for love, and you would have been talking about my own experiences. It took three beautiful cats, to teach me, this lesson. And for my family abusers, I have put, as much distance and time, between us.

KL, I can't wait for the day, which this becomes reality, for you. Thank you, for sharing this poem, with us.

Thank you so much. I appreciate it.
Once again you have taken thoughts and emotions and placed them in flowing free verse. Sad to live in a condemed relationship and perhaps time to think back to your orioginal philosophy when you first met?

Ah, just a melancholy moment, we all have them, don't we?

Indeed we do. But just let it be as you said in the beginning. Forced flowers don't last very long.

and cowgirls too, just ask sissy hankshaw....:))))
The realazation through suffering, not an easy journey at least not one easy to prepeare for. Yet what happens when you go throug hthis eye of the needle and you come out the other side? I know that while we are in it we can't see the light at the end but if there is any consolation, nothing last forever.

Thankyou
