silence

silence

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

louder than words

"
quiet cliche's

all the cliche's
about silence.
true.
louder
than words
deafening

dead airwaves.
I give you
no words
of comfort
no hint
of reassurance.

if you are
going to
kill
this thing,

you need
to live
with the
silence.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am the best damned thing that ever happened to you
By the time you admit it
I will be gone.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FEELING THE DRAFT

if love is an

open door,
close it.

I feel a draft
and I can't afford
the hydro bill.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
reclamation project

I will not forget all the things
you helped me reclaim.

One of them was my pride.
too bad for you.

They say silence is golden, but it does not shine so bright when it comes from someone we love… another fine piece my friend, and on a side note, love that song.

It fits very nicely. You are welcome.
Both chaos and silence can be deafening but when the quiet descends we can sometimes reclaim all that that swirled around us in the maelstrom. I like your presentation of multiple poems that converge into a tableau of sentiments.

I loved this piece. I am going through a same phase now. And heck yea...silence is the loudest cry.the wordplay here with filling and feeling of a draft was brilliantly crafted. Then ofcourse the reclaimation project is too good. As i have my pride back the only thing you will ever get from me is silence. This piece was just a stunner. I guess i am gonna sip less of my coffee so that the caffeine doesn't play havoc and steal my pride again. Thumbs up!!

The pleasure was all mine :)
i really like that idea that you gave me my pride back, inadvertantly of course...

but yes, now that i'm gone...the silence is deafening, isn't it?
i'm louder being gone than i was being there.

Thank you very much. I so appreciate your visits, and you know how much I love your stuff.
The process continues and through all the twists and turns that we have witnessed this is another page of the unravelling. One one hand positive as through the conflict the admittance that some lessons have been learnt. On the other well the missed chances of all that could have been but did not manage to come to fruition.

Thankyou

So do I. No one I know of has heard from her in a bit. Or at least they are not telling.
