Mary Mary

Mary Mary

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

how does her garden grow?

"
Mary Mary
quite contrary,
what is your
bossy garden
worth?

We know
you are Chris-
stain
by your
love, but also
by birth.

Your poetry
withers
on the vine
fertilized with
soil from others' turf.

Ha this is an historical piece.
I got this poem in a read request a few years ago, but also noticed you updated it this past Jan17... I am sorry I missed this back then but glad I finally am going through my read requests...

anyway, I cannot add to what has already been said about the ahole Chris-stain and your brilliant and bitting rebuke of his all too ugly bs and using a children's nursery rhyme to do it, marvelous.. so you Lyn and so damn enjoyable...

Thanks. Yes, this id is still open.
I like how you twisted a children's rhyme into a sharp commentary on a twisted individual. Very nice write, KLG!

Geez , is he back again...another id ...I see what you mean..a cleverly penned piece, the flowers will probably lean towards the crooked side of the garden as usual

Well, you are lucky, I guess, as long as he isn't posting your poems on some other site ...
