the cafe' listens without you hear

the cafe' listens without you hear

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

suddenly, the coffee is a little better, when the chatter is removed from the cafe'

"
The quiet murmur,
voices in the room,
intelligent,
helping,
sincere voices,
sharing poetry,
allowed to speak
once again.
the air isn't quite so stuffy,
and the dirty dishes
have all been shuffled
off to the kitchen
to be scrubbed clean.

The cafe' listens when
you are not hear.

Good post drama poem. Sums it all up rather well I'd say.

Thanks Baby, yes, post drama, I'd say that is a fair assessment.
It does feel different, fewer RRs for me that's for sure.

Hmmm, peculiar indeed and not very smart.
Hmmmm.....when you are not "hear"....very clever use of a homophone. I liked it a lot. Some people are not missed when they are gone, that's for sure! Lydi**

The thing I am enjoying the most is being able to see updates of friends on the news feed, before those would disappear off the page so quickly as review after review by and of him/her would fill the feed up. So much easier to see what has been published, comments made, etc.

Yes I agree that why I wrote it
Did you mean to say "when you are not [hear]?" It's a brilliant play on words, if so.
