quick mud

quick mud

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

On reading Noel's poem Time -- thanks for the inspiration.

"
heart hammers
against the sand
turning quickly
from sludge to
cement,
stuck in eternities
coming back to me
altered realities,
of the skeletal variety,
pulled from behind
doors of destinies
from which I thought
there was no key --

                              trapped in your mud.

Good lord KL, I posted my poem 3.7 minutes ago, and you read it, reviewed it, and came up with an inspiration from it, wrote it, found a song and picture to match and published it. You ARE a freakin' alien, Frieda was right along!

Well written as well, I might add.

I like the entire poem, but the last three lines are so hard hitting...nicely done.

Whoa you're quick...I just read Noel's poem! Perfect, sounds like sludge, or quicksand's impulsion of time.
