weeps a willow

weeps a willow

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

From Momzilla's Gaia Swoons challenge contains the line "and the forest primeval weeps"

"
I dreamed a dream,
a frosted dream,
that summer
never came,

wept a willow,
on child's pillow,
wondering what
will happen,
tomorrows,
and tomorrows,
sorrows that
never end,

winter's sleep
a lifetime keep,
and the forest
primeval weeps.

This is amazing! Such beauty in despair! The discrete repetition and rhyming added personality and emotional impact. Thank you for sharing.

me too :D....
Oh! Just wonderful! Especially like the lines:
"wondering what
will happen,
tomorrows,
and tomorrows,
sorrows that
never end,"

Those are the lines that convict we incompetent stewards of this earth.

Be sure to post it to the group page, please.

Oh, the color challenge was a lot of fun too. Are you going to give us a challenge?
This poem was so soft KLGoode. A nice feathery feel to it as I read. It seems there is no end to your talent. I realy enjoyed this today.
