The colour of you

The colour of you

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

this is for the colour challenge in the poetry challenge.

"
When I close my eyes

I see it,
the fields
in summer,
and the flecks
in your eyes
an ocean
of you --

the colour I
wore, that
very first time
locked in
your kiss,
swept by
your bliss --

to me,
it will always be,
forever
meadow,
lush and dew --
the colour
of you.

This is a sweet and blissful love, the kind that's tender and free. I could not figure out if you were portraying blue or green or yellow lol, but the poem was amazing. Who cares about the color! This was perfect!

What a great feeling this is. It lifted me up which funnily enough I could do with some. This to me indicates an understanding of the concept of faithfullness. It is intrisincally related to any relationship . To see the person and then in a second of insipiration uphold that image which will sustain you through the hard times, the sickness times, the hopeless times and just about any time that things get so bad that you want to throw the towel so to speak.

Beautiful medows.

Thankyou

Wow. You are welcome....:)...........
awww this one is sweet and tender... it has just the right amount of romance without being too mushy... The imagery and emotion are so strong but in such a gentle way if that makes sense at all.. It does in my head.. warned you I need coffee... I like the use of colors and the sprinkling of it in the beautiful imagery.. very nicely done ma'am... get the warm and fuzzies nagging at my ice...

I can see why, it is beautiful... you're more than welcome girl..
MMMMmmmmmm....sensuality at its best because it is elegant....leaves so much to the imagination. Colored memories....delightful and delicious in their sensuality....do not always reflect reality, but they are so wonderful. I believe this is one of your best, KL! Lydi**

Thank you for the sweet words. It really just spilled out of me.
Being a thick skinned male, I tend to shy away from 'romantic poetry'. Seeing this pop up in my feed, I decided to check it out, and am glad that I did. It *is* wonderful :)
