gathering in cyber space

after 3 days of no internet, I am back, with a couple collections

"He's there. I am here." He said. But where is she? Somewhere in between ...

He hacked into her heart,
not with a machete,
but a keyboard
and a pocket full of memories.

he keeps her

quiet.

she never knew

she needed

the calm.

the beat

of his heart;

the lowing of cows

in the meadow,

chirping birds

through the

window --

his breathing

in sync

with hers.

 

Quiet.

Shower kisses,

entered blisses.

she wonders

if he misses

her when she

goes.

She tries to leave

without making a fuss.

 

but he never lets her go

without seeing her to the door,

 

She tells herself

he is just being polite,

 

but her heart hopes,

it's something more ...

when the what ifs are better

than all the whats that came before,

somehow the maybes feel like an open door.
