anti love chronicles

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

had to wash away the last chronicles, harsh, even for me

"
Meu amor

Meu amor (my love)
you taught me much.
we ate well in the sun
and danced under the moon.
if only for an instant,
I was your man.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If I learned anything it was that first love can be something worth reliving in my mind

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You were my friend.
you kissed me.
it ended,
not without pain,
but without regret.

--------------------------------------------------------------

"You knew all along," she said,
"the kind of person I really am."
"Yes," was all he said,
and all he needed to.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

this space intentionally left unfulfilled.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks, and I love your new pic.
.."because I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all"... your poem hits and then hits again, and left me with an, "I wish I would have written this".. so, yes I loved it, and the ending was the "coup de grass" (so much for my French.. HA), but KL I think it's sometimes in those "this space intentionally left unfulfilled" is where pain lives and more thrives... it's a sad state of affairs as we live in a world filled with "pain without love" or maybe its pain due to love... one of my favorite Nirvana songs is "You Know You're Right (Pain)", a different message than the "Pain" song you used, but listening to Three Days Grace, reminded me of this other song..

anyway, besides feeling jealous of your poem, it goes straight into my favorites... oh yes, the one marked PAAAAAIIIIINNNNN!!!!!

Beware, it might be painful.
Perfect, this is absolutely my favourite format of yours.
Bursts of love, life, wisdom and heartache.

I responded to these from my phone. No comments showed up. Arrgh. Thanks, anyway.

Oh… those runners. Yep they know to always leave the crowed wanting more. Great story telling, KL.

Thanks so much for running by.
I related to the third section so much "not without pain, but without regret" Well written KL, I enjoy these somewhat random collections of your thoughts and impressions, they unify well into a theme even though the style and feel of each piece is so different from the others.
