emotional limbo

cobwebs and such

emotional limbo,
negotiating my way
under and through
sticky cobwebs
pain that lingers
binds and traps
chokes me
and won't let go --

picking those daisies,
trying to find the right spot,
wondering if it lands on
"he loves me not."

everything I felt
all the things I said,
just seem too stupid,
when love slaps you upside the head.
