Sometimes in life you just have to realize you are who you are, and weird things happen to you more than the average person, and that's okay. I have been called many things in my life. Many people have used words like "spark plug", "electrical", and "sizzling" to describe me. It always makes me laugh. And here is why ...

Electricity has always
been a funny mystery,
with my strange history ...

A watch,
it will not last on me
till half past
the battery.
I long gave up
on claiming warranty --

The vacuum cleaner
died on me,
not once but thrice,
they FRIED on me,
two steamers and a fryer,
three washers and a dryer,

And the kind that does your hair,
the number set afire,
is too numerous to share --
VCRs and DVDs, and MP3s
microwaves I set ablaze,
insurance is a maze ...

So when someone says,
"You have a certain electricity"
I say, "you have no idea, come try me if you dare!"
