It's you, I must confess

It's you, I must confess

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

sometimes stuff happens you don't expect and maybe didn't think you wanted

"
How did this happen?

I didn't want this,
didn't you know?

I wasn't looking,
not only that,

I was avoiding,
running down
the road,
as fast as I could.

but I was caught
by a blue eyed
smile and a sparkle
I didn't realize I need.

Now all the sudden
there is hay in my hair,
and country music
in the air.

No way, not again.
NOT FAIR.

Oh I know you all like to see my squishy underbelly occasionally ...
Thanks to Noel HC for the song recommend. Now if only I could get Noel to listen to Maria Brinks or David Draiman ... LOL

I think KL you have shown him your sweet side, he is still your cowboy and we have been treated to some wonderful poetry and there was lots of strawn in them and most likely in your hair as well...

you know squishy is a good thing KL... ;0)

Thank you very much.
This is really cute . . . love the playful spunky tone . . . you're not the first one to be ensnared when you are actively NOT TRYING AT ALL! It's so cool when love sneaks up like that. Nicely described & relatable.

Thanks. Glad it comes across I exactly the intended manner.
Well, to be fair... A blue eyed smile sure is hard to resist. :)
I'd trade my high heels in for a pair of cowboy boots if I found me handsome wrangler.
I like this, I can totally hear this conversation with yourself. It's even 'cute'. :)

This one was too adorable! You can run but you can't hide from those blue eyes. I loved your ending it made me giggle.

Thanks, I appreciate that. It kind of makes me giggle too.
Bad part of life. When we are running away. We seem to find more messes to fall into. I enjoyed the poem. I did like the ending.

This is wonderful writing. The flow is so smooth and song-like. The words dance through a light emotion that gently stirs the heart. The form on the page is so uniform. Poetic, and holds true and genuine
