Coincidental incidences

Coincidental incidences

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

sometimes life is just funny

"
Logic confounded
by the heart's
coincidental incidences --

thought I knew you when,
was it somehow
in another life?

            i was --

                     searching for you,
                     although I didn't know it,
                     at the time.

fated meeting,
last minute decision,
threw caution out the door.

an appointment scratched out,
person A becomes person B,
person U.

                         I could have left.
                         instead,
                         I kissed you.

and that one set
of coincidental incidences,
twisted my heart's history.

What a great play on words this stanza is! No one knows what lies around the next corner and sometimes caution HAS to be thrown to the wind....in order to make life interesting. I liked this one a lot. Lydi**

thanks, that is my favourite part too ...
The heart is a damn trickster at times, wants it all...fate is a conman, so I say, well, not always, I guess :) x

It is usually, I have to say ...
It is funny how one night of throwing caution to the wind can change your entire future. Wonderful work here this was a great read.

So true. You are welcome...:)................
Fate does it's magic, it is still up to us to act upon the opportunities given. Nice one.

Exactly what I thought...............
Well portrayed and written explanation of the idea of fate I guess and choices we make that influence the path fate sends us on.

Thanks, I liked this one. It was written on my phone and transferred last night.
what a great story here...often we know better, but we stop and throw caution to the wind...even if there is foreseeable heartbreak ....nothing like reckless abandon.
