I would be forever indebted if someone could show me how to work the international keyboard from microsoft. The Portuguese first, then the translation.

I appreciate the situation here all to well, all these stories floating around in my head, getting mixed up with real life, and imposing themselves on our real and dream worlds.

I use German alt codes a lot, e.g. ä Ä ß and that seems to work in the comment box. I notice Porugese alphabet has the same accents as French, except for the tilde ~ over the a and o, maybe you can activate Canadian French keyboard for the accents acute, grave, circumflex and the cedilla and just learn the alt code for the ~.
