A handme down gift

A handme down gift

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

inspired by my blanket girl

"
Life is a handme down gift
she said to me --
treasure the moments
of life
we all share
sitting beside
the fire
tonight
in our handme down life.

My 7 year old daughter dictated this poem to me. I thought it was pretty good. She picked the image from stock fire images too.

She's a regular shake-spearing! This is inspiring and very impressive. If she can dictate a poem like this at 7 wow just think of what she can do at 12 and 13 years of age. Keep encouraging her to keep up the good work Lovely write!

She does. You are lucky. She copying her mentor.
kids pay so much more attention than we realize. They are intuitive and clever. There is a lot of truth in this... We all try to (hand down) leave something behind: treasured moments, stories, beliefs, traditions, sentimental valuables, etc from generation to generation. Quality lasts through use and makes it comfortable, meaningful, and full of memories that are priceless... Tell her AWESOME job!!
