Grovelling

Grovelling

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

I make no apologies, look away if you don't like it. This is a straight up in the moment, verbal vomit hissy fit rage ...

"
Grovelling
you have no pride ...
I am supposed to
help you
after you already
promised them ...
big surprise caught
between a rock
and your arrogance
you know
I will not let them
down.
and you will come off
the hero,
like you always
do.
everyone says
don't!
but how can I not,
they are mine too,
caught in the middle
they want to see their
big shot dad,
who can't pay the bills here
or there or anywhere ...

I am supposed to say NO,
but he knows I cannot do it.

Author's Note

Lyn Anderson
This is a straight up rant. It doesn't rhyme, it isn't good, I am just mad and needed a place to stuff it.

That's bad news... I'm ranting with you! If it helps, you can horsewhip one of my poorly penned, poorly punctuated pieces of poesy... and leach the anger out... if only for a little while :)

Thanks. Yes ranting helped.
Oh KL I hear you here... this is a good rant and you are a strong woman for being able to be the better person for your kids. It all comes out in the end believe me... unfortunately they will find out just exactly what kind of man their father, is sooner or later, on their own...and that is heartbreaking. So have your snit, we all do ...haha obviously... get it out and don't let it fester inside... as I seem to be saying of late, pen it out until there is nothing left!

Wow.. This is a gut-wrenching read. I cannot imagine how difficult of a situation that is. I am impressed that you are staying strong and doing this for your children though. Great write and great message. xo :)
