For Poppy, Frieda, Vidya, Samantha virginpoet, Maddie, and Kalypso

I would be
a Poppy if
not for my hard edges ...

I would
slide into Frieda's skin,
if I could only be so brave ...

I would
tuck into Vidya's world,
if I had a heart left to break ...

I would be
a Virginpoet,
but I lost that part of me a long time ago ...

I would be Maddie, or Kalypso,
but they are still young and free ...

I would be,
but I am me.

What a wonderful poem/tribute but for what it's worth I am glad you are you and not them.. no disrespect to you or them... but all of you are unique and wonderful poets whose voices would make life unbearable if lost, each and or all... besides, I am a very selfish redzone and want, no demand to hear each of your voices...er.. well ok no demands but.. but... ;0) go KL!!
