We do that sometimes...despite our best intentions we take things out on those around us. And yes when its our kids we damn well know better. But we are only human and trying to piece life back together after a marriage falls apart. While we should strive to keep our children out of the line of fire it is an emotional situation...they are bound to see, hear or pick up on things. I remember seeing my mother crying a few times late at night when I was fairly young...she was working two jobs to try and keep our heads above water. My father wasnt paying child support. It was really tough for her...and honestly no one can carry on like everything is sunshine and roses all the time. Your writes always hit the nail on the head...showing us the real side not some sugar coated fantasy. Hugs...

Thank you. Even super moms trip from time to time.
I see a reoccuring theme in your poetry and each one seems better than the last. This is sad but I can see the truth in it. At times we do let out inner frustrations affect those we care for the most. I enjoyed this today KLGoode.
