Paradoxical Truth

Paradoxical Truth

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

on conversations with ...

"
my love for you runs
along the surface
of my past ...
a bead of water
skittering along
an intricate web
of paradoxical truths
thrown together
illogically
logical
you are not my type
and neither am I
yours --
but somehow
kisses
made that
irrelevant
and here we sit
on the other side
of where we thought
we would never be.

Wow, how did I miss this one?

This was another amazing piece, KL. You really captured my imagination in this one. Like the one I wrote earlier, this one certainly made me think, and I love that.

Thank you for such an amazing write! :)

It's funny how we are drawn to someone and it seems as though "all of the sudden" we are miles away...something I definitely can relate to.
At least you had those kisses....

Thanks so much, I appreciate the review.
Here we have a real contemplative little gem if you ask me. Another one to re-visit time and time again. N

Wow. You are welcome...:)..................................
well at least the kisses were good...but that certainly isn't enough...

i like how you split that one line up...cause i read it "you are not my type, and neither am i"

which makes sense to me...because sometimes i don't feel i am my own type either.

i like your wordplay in this.

Yes glad you picked up on that. Which you would.
Oh those last for lines are fantastic...well this whole write is fantastic... It is funny how we are drawn to certain types but the ones who can really hold our hearts captive ...we never even saw coming. Wonderful work again KL...

Yes you come closest to capturing what I was attempting to achieve
You know we all have a certain type we are most attracted to but always end up loving someone that we never we would never have imagined we could. Ahhh love is such a mystery.
