Hate x Infinity

Hate x Infinity

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

struggles in her head

"
Hate x Infinity =
Words unsaid x
how much I hate him
divided
by how much I don't
want to love you
over
the whys
and wonders
trip and sputter
trapped in a cage
of my own
designer lies.
denial feels
like surrender,
the great pretender;
it's an equation
logical only to me
afraid to begin
what I may have to end
even if it's too late.

Love x Infinity =
as long as I don't say it
it's not real.

I can relate to this..even math was my least favorite subject. Ha... When weve been burned we are quite hesitant to put ourselves in a situation where we might be burned again. Doesnt really matter how small the chance is...we will outright avoid the situation to save our poor fractured hearts. Great write KL.

Thank you so much.
but algebra is real, and you use the idea of equations to get this point across so well...great metaphor and play on words...just what is "the truth set"?
