A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

read it and see

"
cold wind blows;
feels like winter
when it should be spring.
a dirty layer of
encrusted ice
muddies everything.

and, like the winter
that refuses to leave

he stubbornly goes,
trying to keep her
bound by ring
a reminder of
false promise
surrounding suffering.

            but, like winter,
            he cannot continue
            to  reason
            that one season
            will not give way
            to the next.

I like how you captured the male fickle heart. They like to keep us on a string, giving us attention when it is convenient, and casting us off when it is not. Very nice writing, KL.

Thank you so much, I appreciate that.
I adore the way you have written this! You express your feelings seemingly effortlessly in this piece. It's amazing how guys seem to think they can walk away one minute and want you back the next. This hit home with me, especially now. Thank you, dear sister, KL! xo (:

I wish I could give you a hug. And although I am happy you read, I am sad you relate.
There is a time and season for everything.Just because he decides that he wants back what he didn't want when he had it does not mean that he has changed.

Yes hunny we girls stick together because we understand :)
A winter that blows the worst cold dropping the wind chill factor of our once fiery love. Numbing our hearts until we could no longer feel anymore.
