Who is she?

Who is she?

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

just in case you were wondering, this should make it clear as mud

"
Who is she, really?
Stalking, posting, editing
in flourishes, reading,
running, playing, flirting,
kissing boo boos and
easing children's woes,
angsting, pontificating,
MATURating, teaching
lessons in animal behaviour
and Portuguese --
just another day
catapulting through life.

Ha! I feel so much more enlightened about you now, KL! I didn't know that you taught Portuguese - I learned a bit of it before I went to visit Brazil, but I barely remember any of it now.

As Madalyn said below, I think my favorite part is the MATURating reference! I also noticed your spelling of "behaviour," which is the British spelling, if I'm not mistaken? I might have commented on that in one of your other poems, too.

My other favorite line in this is "catapulting through life." What an apt description; it really does feel that way sometimes, doesn't it?

You know, I must comment on something else...this rating system. Often, it's really hard for me to decide how to "rate" a poem (if I do so at all). I tend to rate highly, especially if I really do like it, but at the same time, what makes a difference between a "100" poem and, say, a "20" poem? I guess that's very subjective.

Hahahaha! "MATURating."

I loved that. You have such saucy poetry. Thanks for bringing another much needed smile to my face. Also, that taunting description is priceless.

Well done, my friend. :)
