decency

decency

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

I looked at the blanket and this is what came out

"
You knitted me a blanket
full of love and kindness
even as you plotted
to knife me in the back.

My walls are filled with
paintings you made,
the books you bought
are still shelved.
you could have had
the decency to take
the rest of you
when you went.

KLG after I read this piece. I remember one good song that was very popular . It was sang by Keith Urban. I think you know or you might know this song well; " You'll think of me " .... and it goes like this .
Take your records take your freedom
Take your memories I don't need them
Take your sweater and something ( sorry I forgot )
Then take the cat too or something ...
I think its a break up song. But its played and expressed beautifully sad. If you haven't heard it yet. I urge you to check it out. Well ...thanks for sharing KLG .

Uhh, I actually would not know any country songs except old stuff. But I will check it out.
The worst! The constant reminder of them and what they did. At least now you could have a bonfire! :)
