Radical Man-ectomy

Inspired by Delmar Cooper.

I had an itch
I couldn't scratch
or maybe it
was an egg
I couldn't hatch ...

A ringing in
my ears I could
not place ...

An ugly pimple
kept appearing
on my face ...

I tried my best
to make it better
took everyone's
advice to the
letter --
counsellors,
exercise,
weight loss and
meditation
once I even
took a vacation ...

Jumped on
the bus and
an old lady
looked at me,
in an instant
she knew
exactly what
was wrong with me

"HUN", she said,
"I know just what you need,
go home, don't be late,
don't hesitate, nor
vascillate, you can
take my gun,
and make sure it's done
with expediency,
a radical man-ectomy!"

Typo "Counsellors"

Is manectomy like a "Man" - ectomy? If so - I got it eventually (and I agree with previous reviews that it is witty), but perhaps it could be made clearer though italics or quotes or a hyphen.

Thanks for your review - I could italicize, however, I will not alter the Canadian spellings in any of my work. Counsellors is correct in Canada, thanks.

No problem. I used to post a note on Canadian spellings, but generally, we put our and double ll's where Americans do not, and there are other things like cheque vs check etc. Our spelling is closer to U.K. spellings and grammatical conventions. Thanks for reading. I will check out your page.:)
