of Zombies and Lazarus

of Zombies and Lazarus

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

oh just read it for Pete's sake!

"
Don't you hate it
when you take
that paper
and squash
that bug

but it flies away
despite your most
valiant efforts
it comes back
to buzz in your ear
again?

I didn't call
the witch doctor
so I don't know
what to do
when the zombie
keeps pestering me ...

And I sure as hell
don't have a direct
line to Jesus
so how does Lazarus
keep dragging his
sorry a*s in here?

Some people just can't take a hint.

Probably leave it, i know she'll be back, minus the duffle coat. lol
nice metaphor here...

try stomping on him with your heel...maybe that will squash his repeated efforts to come back to life...or love if that be the case.

Yup. Giving that a go next :)

Your poem reminds me of the Zombie bee.

Zombie Bee

If you smack a bug,
one that's flying free,
that's no way to hug
a small zombie bee.

She'll return with spite
with a buzz, a bite
fighting day and night
to stay in your sight.

That is really neat. Thank you.
Just say...OO EE OO ah ah, ting tang walla walla bing bang. Sorry, your poem got that stupid song stuck in my head now. Very heavy duty piece here my friend. Keep squashing, you'll kill that big eventually.
