political asylum

political asylum

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

offered and relinquished

"
Offered
under
false
pretenses
your
love
had
teeth
grinding
and
tearing
it
wasn't
a
clean
meal
you
prepared

when
you
offered
me
political
asylum
from
your
mind.

Funny I always feel as though I've been slapped upside the head when I read you KL...in a good way of course....

Thanks, sorry I missed this review. My phone is uncooperative.
Short and easy to understand. But chaotic for the mind.

Thank you so much for indulging my request.
I love the form of this and many of your other pieces. Direct and to the point and still thought provoking.

Thank you. I like to say a little with a lot, unlike in real life, when I prattle on and on ...
there are ways to get around that political asylum...and it doesn't always work anyway...

pretenses can be spotted...asylum denied...or maybe we get driven so crazy, we end up in one.
