Friccasee

Friccasee

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

there it is.

"
Fricasseed intentions
love's lost dimensions
encompass to include
what once it did exclude
betrayal's sweet denial
blade unsheathed
exposed coppery
red taste beneath
rushing rivulet's disbelief
lodged somewhere between
the ribs of her chest
the words of the one
who knew her best
snuggly rest.

Deeply embedded. Crucial word choice. When I was kid a bit into a penny once to see what it was like. I can relate to that coppery taste.

I need a way to cut the tension....
Ha. Really this is partly why I love your works so very much. Bit like a knife edge. It's fun to dance with written death. Loved the power of this great job
