Places everyone!

Places everyone!

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

an inspiration on top of an inspiration - from David Scott's Here and Now

"
"Places everyone!"

"Now you, sit
right down in that
chair - you have
been very bad!
Past full of pain,
face the wall
don't talk to me
again until you
have thoroughly
scrubbed yourself
free of all self pity
and become more
a lesson than - no more
lather rinse repeat!"

"And Future, yes, you,
over there, you will
just have to wait your turn
until you learn
that there is only
one day at a time."

"And you, yes, you, Today,
get over here! Comb your
hair, stand up straight,
make sure you do all
you can do to make this
day
count!

god, it is so hard to take one day at a time, as much as we want to...we try to make each day count..but the past always seems to hover...and cast that shadow...
we can remember, but if we dwell on it...the future will certainly lose its luster no matter how positive it is.

Thanks a lot. I had fun writing it.
I absolutely adore the personification of the past, present, and future in this one! There are days we need to tell it like it is and put things in perspective. You did that and with class. Loved it. LYdi**
