I realize

I realize

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

I can't help it, this is the up and down nature of the current turn of events

"
I realize
I am
                     too smart
                                  too sexy
        too damned perfect
to just let go.

but d****t
baby I was all that
and then some
all these years
and you didn't

          seem to know.

Sometimes men are dumb.
They treat the one good ever horribly then wonder why it didn't work out.

Yes, this is true. And then slather on the compliments and all the boo hoos after the fact.
People don't realize what they have hold of until it's slipping away. That's captured perfectly here and with some serious sass! Great work. C: I look forward to reading more of your work.

Clueless all these years . If I have one like that I would let her know all the time that she's all that .

Now, live this realization!
Live like you believe in who you are and do not settle for less from yourself or anyone else.
Great poem!!!!
