MOMMY!

MOMMY!

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

would you rather have that stodgy old one, or me?

"
Breakfast and fill
the lunch kits
x+y = what mommy?
What's that silly
grin on your face
are you thinking
up poetry again?
MOMMY!
stop giggling,
and what is
that whacky
dance anyway?
brush your face
and fix your
hair, hey is that
a smile I see under
there?
Not everyone
lets their kids
roller blade through
the kitchen door -
who gives a s**t
about the
hardwood floor?
MOMMY!
not me --
would you rather
have a boring
one or someone
crazy
like me?

Thanks! I did enjoy!
Maybe that depends on whose image of "stock" is being considered ...chuckling here.

Great poem, I don't know why its rated mature. Roller blades in the kitchen hmm.

that whacky

If anyone really knew what the wacky dance was I'm sure it would make them blush ;)

It was my use of sh**t that prompted me to put mature on it. Never quite sure about that.

Lol I know what you mean.
Kl, your kids are so cute. Rollerblading through the kitchen...what could be more fun than that. Real life floats beautifully here.
