Errantapostrophobia

Errantapostrophobia

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

in keeping with my unhealthy obsessions

"
She lurks in your back pages
She does not mean to be
obsessed
possessed
anathema
to her very
existence -
unaware of
the correct
terminology,
she seeks
therapy
for her
phobia of the
errant apostrophe -

alas says
the shrink,
there is no
cure.

you w'ill
just h'ave to
en'dure -
the world 'is
full of th'em
ha've a drink
an'd deal
w'ith em'
a'hem!

it's good to face your fears and admit your idiosynchrosies (sorry about spelling) and laugh at yourself about it. this was very amusing but also informative. cool coinage.
