a lame attempt at sci fi poetry - thanks RAY - can I call you that?
White lab coat splashed red centrifuges singing to an empty room. DNA collided spliced and divided a new species and the one who touted the goo as a solution a revolution(ary) new food supply, lies on the floor. she is missing an ear, an arm, and a toe. apparently her experiment got hungry too.
Interesting, the title grabbed me, it reminded me of "The Stuff" a 1985 movie title, and also is so much in the theme of 1950 and 60s horror movie titles.
I stayed because this work takes a lot of risk, to contain science fact and fiction, relay a full story, and do so in the form of poetry. There is some excellent imagery, humor, and the structure is strong.

A sci fi poem is definitely out of my comfort zone, and it felt pretty great to win it, even though it's just a little contest at the WC. I have learned to stretch my abilities here, and that is why I stay, despite some of the difficulties.
Have no fear, you done KL goode again my dear - Yeah made me shiver too... Sinister in a funny kind of way. I like it, yep I certainly do and maybe there's a moral in their too, or a kidney or a toe?
Certainly an unusual write. I read it twice to set the scene in my mind...a bit eerie. An experiment that ends up turning on its creator.....my goodness! Sci-Fi and Thriller all wrapped up into one. Splendid imagery! Lydi**
