surprise

surprise

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

sometimes surprises can be nasty

"
She lived
on edges
walking
thinking
herself
smart
she liked it
hot
swearing
in the
face of
God
Hell
probably
wasn't so
bad -
and the devil
danced with
glee
at her arrogant
blasphemy
Hell is
individual, you see -
and waiting
for her was a
special surprise;
a fire
that never warms
and ice
that never melts.

I wrote one just because of this comment - see "hit me"
I actually got the idea today - my job is outdoors, in minus 35, and I thought, damn, this is my idea of hell.

Oh this is killer KL....and the devil danced with glee, I've witnessed it personally. This takes me in so many directions, none good.
