incremental love
A Chapter by
Lyn Anderson
love at first sight? NOT!
I didn't love you, not sure I even liked you, that day. But, I kissed you anyway. Somehow it grows, softly, quietly, waiting incrementally sneaking, pokes its head from beneath the sheets, whispers softly; every once in a while, one of us hears.

Lovely poem, real, and sweet. I like how the form fits the subject.

sometimes another person just grows on us...and often it can happen as we see more within them than without....

Sounds like a rusty marriage or someone's being naughty...ha, good one, those increments are sometimes the best we can hope for.
