tell me why

tell me why

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

I am reveling in the current theme - if you don't dig it, don't pick up the damned shovel I say

"
tell me why
he says with
wide innocent
eyes
make her want
to vomit
tell me why
he says with
passion and intent
so true
makes her want
to scream
tell me why
as they sit in a room
full of angry scars
and she looks
back at him with
a face marked by
rivers of tears
her heart drowning
in its fears
she has no voice
he left her no choice
tell me why?
tell me why not?
