My Lancelot you were everything to me and we thought it would be forever but it was not. You have her now, and I have stumbled through the prickle bushes - each man bleeding me to suffer greater than the next and more often than not I find myself thinking of the first, My Lancelot.
Here is another one i like; i was drawn to the title. Have you ever read Malory?? I have a very old copy of Le Morte d'Arthur i found in a used book store during my college days. I read it ever year for about ten or eleven years, along with the Lord of t Rings. lol classic material. I still try to read the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings once a year, if i can.
anyhow, this is a thoughtful piece and i enjoyed spending some time with it. thanks

Lancelot. The purest of us all, he had fought many battles, won when the odds were against him. He had slain many foes, but he could not win the greatest of battles...true love was the battle he could not win.
