bathed in you

bathed in you

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

read it.

"
I bathed in
your light
I bathed in
your words
I bathed in
the fragrance
of me and you
I bathed in our
love until
you scalded me
with your hate.
I bathed in
your acid
a thousand
pin pricks
till the tub
stained red
under the
blue moon.
I bathed in you
until my heart
was nothing
but a shriveled
prune.

Sometimes a person writes into the imagery - they get so found/lost in the turn of the words that they say more or less what they intended.

there are times when no fancy words or glorified imagery can replace the simplicity of pain from the heart

I need a bath now

Peace
