A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

mad scribblings in the night

"
3 am
the freezing
rain is tapping
maddeningly
all around me
all I can think
is d****t I gotta
scrape it off
when I start the car
another few
hours I should be
sleeping
instead I find
myself
tapping the keys
as another round
of insomnity
peruses me.
