You made me feel poetry to dream to grasp a falling star the music swelling filling the rooms of my mind the intensity the purity violets in the spring time a glittering gem from an ocean imagined too far. across a world you came to me you loved me You made me feel poetry transcending space/ time You made me your friend.
One of my favorite poems of yours that I've read so far. This tastes like a piece of tiramisu . . . very sweet, with a little huskiness of coffee, and many interesting layers! *yum! yum!*
A lovely piece with a lot of delightful images. I can relate to some lines, which make your lines a treasure to my mind. I particularly like:"You made me feel poetry
transcending
space/
time
You made me your friend". So nice.

Thank you very much. It is one of my favourites for one of my best friends.
I picked a random poem I posted 3 years ago, but wrote in 1990, because I love this person, and I was feeling sappy. People on this site always want what's new, but something doesn't have to be new to be enjoyed.
A beautiful poem for friendship and poetry. I have many writers who make me want to read and create. I like the positive feel of the poem. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Thank you very much. Way late. But heartfelt, nonetheless.
