sometimes the truth is evident in words unspoken

with each passing day
the things you choose not to
say
speak louder than the things
you do.

and i just wanted to let
u know
i will be all right
i could never be
what you deserved
but i could be
what you wanted
for a little while
and i am grateful
to have known

just the same.

I wonder should I take this poem on a sad note or a happy one. But I am guessing the former speaks louder than the latter. It's a very well written poem. Quite powerful, raw and as the description says it, very honest. I love the lines:
i could never be
what you deserved
but i could be
what you wanted
for a little while

The pain in these lines really is something I can relate to.
