so tired

angry love poem as so many of them are for me

i scream

and you won’t hear

me

you scream

and that is all i can

hear

neither of us

know the other’s

pain

and we’re both too busy

feeling our own

we hurt them

every day we

do this

you shut down

when i need you

i rev up when you

need me to shut down

i am so tired of

fighting

i am so tired of

loving

you.

Thanks again. This was really in the depths of the worst of it, when I felt I couldn't get out. That person, overweight, frumpy, dressed in baggy grey t-shirts, trying to put on a brave face, is nearly unrecognizable to me now. :)

you have to throw it out and go get you a new carton of milk.
