hopelessness

They made it feel so wrong to be good

and now,

Now there is no more good,

Just conflict,

Just anger,

Just pain,

Are they happy now?

Now that hope is fading

Now that hope is gone

Its all gone,

All that's good

All that's pure and innocent

Author's Note

Its one of the first poems I ever wrote, tried to think of ways to improve it but couldn't think of anything, so I would appreciate some helpful tips or directions.

This poem deals with a lot of abstractions and no concrete details. If you changed out words like conflict, pain, and innocent to images or stories that symbolize the abstract thoughts.
