Night Song

Night Song

A Poem by Avocations of Amber
"

one word: sanctuary

"

Night Song

If each moonbeam had a sound,

they would capture every soul

in the milky, terracotta light

dispersed on those below

For nightfall has a song,

incomparable to day

with each luminescent lunar moth

in flight til' evening fades
