Salvation StormA Poem by Avocations of AmberUnderneath the stormy skies the doe protects the fawn and purple martins hide in ferns until the coming dawn
Umbrellas pop in multitude, a rainbow on the square-- as mothers scoot their babies under shelter everywhere
Each raindrop falls, like tears to earth The Father sheds each one; Cleansing all as He sees fit until the job is done
The shadows of the storm surrender to the calming light, cascading hope on every life while angels guard the night
