Lover's LullabyA Poem by Avocations of Amberdaydreams of love....Waltz me around in a ballroom of air and curl up your fingers in locks of my hair
Drink of me deep like a muscadine wine A succulent sweetness like grapes on the vine
Rock me as gently as jasmine filled winds on hammocks of Hemlocks with music of wrens
Captivate me with your cool, cashmere kisses and lean over me like a well full of wishes
Explore me like caverns in rocky-edged shores Revealing your heartbeat; I'm longing for more
Lull me to sleep with a sunsetting song and awaken my body to right and to wrong
Wash over me now like the tides on the sand, Caress me as smoothly as silk in your hands
Possess me; protect me I knight you, forever to shield me within you like your lady treasure
