I'm a Disease.

I'm a Disease.

A Poem by ambur

Oh, such mind, so anorexic; these thoughts I cannot consume.
My mouth, bulimic, i cannot stop these spewing words.
These sounds, asthmatic--so restrained beneath my breath.
Confined, pursued, misled, astray. . .just gone.

So descriptive! You paint such a picture with your words, and though I think there is times where everyone feels like they are a disease, The ability to express your writing and make someone smile shows how beautifully your piece is written

I love the comparisons and metaphor employed in the piece. Your personification of the disease from which you suffer sounds all the world to me like irresistible creativity. I'm sorry, I'm afraid there's no cure except to produce more art and poetry. :) Well done.

You know I've read that a disease can befriend with another disease while one is half injured by the other. Like virus and bacteria (they ain't disease though) By going through filters of thousand sufferings, one turns feeling like a disease to make all bow down. Be blessed :)

I can understand you fully. I've had an eating disorder for many years because a boy I loved didn't like my body. Please, if you are struggling, get help! We here at WC are here for you!

Have I mentioned how nice it is having your words returned ? This read is a door being closed on sunlight. A moment when life leaves on the whim of insult and boredom, the appetite of gray matters, It's wonderful~
