Spilled Milk

Spilled Milk

A Poem by ambur

I spilled cereal milk on my favorite shoes
And it seeps through and touches my toes
And it dances with my skin in the wrong tempo.
I wipe them down, but the feeling lingers.
My toes and skin and shoes are angry now;
I should buy some socks to catch the mess
Next time and bid the shoes a hearty farewell.

Yep...it's official. You've inspired me to the point of Momofuku ?! Perhaps you need to start your meetings on Tuesdays instead of Fridays so I know what is going on round here...lol. I, I truly had no idea they made cereal milk nor do I have a clue what to say to this except it has burst forth a god-awful poem in my list of god-awful poems which just can't be wrong... AND YOU..little lady and dear friend as well as poet, are out of control with a vengeance ...WELL DONE!!!
