SadSilentSobs

A Poem by ambur

Screaming
quietly
almost silently
drowning in the place
between bliss and
frozen darkness--
blue lips
bobbing
just above the surface,
just....enough
to keep me from sweet
succulent
death.

Never heard death referred to as sweet and succulent. Sounds like a fresh cantaloupe. Probably wouldn't ask for seconds, though.
