Bounded Feet of Time

Bounded Feet of Time

A Poem by ambur

The seconds, the minutes, the hours, the days;
They’re poetically dancing around my face
As I tire to hastily grasp a few fleeting glimpses,
Just a few momentary breaks in the silence…
I wish to shove them temporarily in my pocket
And borrow them for a more permanent need:
For I do not wish for this beautiful occasion,
To be whisked away by the bounded feet of time.

If only we could accost time and bind his feet for even a little while. I'll bring the rope.

Nice one. 😀

Well, let loose of gravity already? ;) Sounds familiar...straight back to the moon or held in heart for a better time that never comes, until now of course! Loved this~
