Can I Love You?

Can I Love You?

A Poem by ambur

Can I love you-
Whilst your eyes pierce my skin,
Underneath the infinite stars.
Can I touch your fleeting mind-
As your lips extinguish these thoughts,
Beneath a raging sea of woven fabric.
Can I feel your hands, your entire soul-
Dancing around my feverish heart;
Forever now and forever always.

I love this. You've captured the raw uncertainty of baring your soul for another, the vulnerability.

Seemed like a real asking... not rhetorical.
